Perfect Curves Final Chapter Sneak Peek

Hey everyone here is a tiny peek at the last chapter of Perfect Curves.

wattpad chick lit romance novelMy eyes followed Reed as he made his way to the front. He hadn’t mentioned being a speaker, but maybe it wasn’t a big deal since he was an employee. There was a slight sheen on his forehead. He must have been nervous. I didn’t take him for the type to be afraid to talk in front of people considering he instructed fitness classes.

The microphone screeched when Reed adjusted it to his height. I saw him wince a little. His eyes landed on me and he smiled before starting his speech.

“Hello everyone, my name’s Reed. I’m a personal trainer here. It’s great to see you all out here to celebrate our ten year anniversary, but also such a great cause. At our gym, we focus on more than weight loss and physiques.  We focus on helping people live healthier lifestyles.”

Reed took a slip of the bottle of water that was given to him at the beginning of the speech.

“This year I actually had the opportunity to help someone very special. When I met this client I knew that she was different. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate all my clients and put my best foot forward when it comes to helping them. It’s that this particular client captivated me from the first time I saw her. She was the most beautiful woman I’d ever set eyes on. So much so that for the first time ever I risked my professional integrity and gave her my number.”

Reed’s eyes bore into mine. I couldn’t blink, couldn’t think, I wasn’t even sure how I was breathing.

Unstable By S.E. Hall | Book Review

Unstable is full of Love, Loss, and Self-Discovery.

Unstable, S.E. Hall, Romance novel, romance, love, loss, second chance love, Henley, Keaton,

I read A LOT of books. I set my Goodreads challenge at 70 books. It’s April and I’m at 34 books. That doesn’t include the books I’ve re-read. S.E. Hall’s Unstable was one that left me with a book hangover.

I kept thinking about Henley, Keaton and Gatlin. If you’re a reader you know the feeling that I’m talking about, book hangover.

Henley returned to her hometown fort the first time in eight years after the death of her mother. She hadn’t spoken to or seen her mother in those years. Coming back to the farm brought back a lot of pain and unwelcome memories for Henley.

When she arrived Gatlin, a hired hand, greeted her. He became more than just her friend, but her crutch. He helped her through the many emotions of being back at the farm.

Keaton Cash was the boy next door that she always saw as her enemy. She thought he was a nuisance and was not happy to see him when she got home. Keaton Cash didn’t care how hard Henley tried to push him away. He pushed back refusing to let her continue to shut him out.

It’s so hard to review this story without giving too much away. There are some twist and turns that I did not expect. There’s only one chapter from Keaton’s point of view and it blew my mind. Hall was clever in the execution.

There’s so much to this book. I won’t ruin it by going into great detail. I think that it is worth the read. It isn’t a cookie cutter second chance or enemy to lover romance. It deals with issues of love, loss, mental health, and guilt. The title Unstable goes deeper than you would even guess.
